For 53 years the Northside Lions have been steadfast in meeting the commitment of all Lions adhering to the motto : “WE SERVE”. Lions across the world act in local groups to seek out all forms of community need and develop ways to serve and satisfy those needs. Initially called “Knights for the Blind” by Helen Keller, they continue to aid the sightless and promote sight conservation. And, today, they do that and so much more.
The Northside Lions directly support many individual children and families in need and act as a mini “united way” working hand-in-hand with agencies and other non profit organizations to include: Child Guidance Center, Seton Home, St Vincent de Paul, SAMM Ministries, Any Baby Can, Respite Care, USO, Special Olympics, Wesley Community Center, Morgan’s Wonderland, CROP Walk and many, many others.
In addition to being a highly “social” organization, we raise funds through a variety of interesting and charitable projects and with the funds we raise, we contribute substantially to the betterment of so many others. We Serve and have fun doing it together, you can too.
100% of all funds raised are donated to charitable organizations
